My fascination for people's lives brought me to photograph portraits. Seeing so many emotions and stories reflected on people's faces always gave me a sense of restlessness, I wanted to capture those moments of tension, those powerful moments in someone's life that can fly by in an instant, I wanted to know those stories. It was like walking down the streets reading intense biographies, I wanted to know them all.

I began photographing those emotions and stories within my inner circle, then, I reached out to strangers in the streets asking to take their portrait and to my delight I was able to begin the photo series of 'Intimate Portraits - A view into the soul', it was then, that my restlessness began to dissappear.

During March 2005 events in my life turned it upside down. Spring coming and winter ending in my life's cycle. I was torn inside by these bitter-sweet emotions. In one of those moments I became aware that these were the powerful emotions that I had always looked for to capture in strangers, it was then, that I turned the camera around and captured perhaps one of the most intense times of my life. I continue to shoot portraits as my main 'soul pacifier' and am always happy to learn from those people which I have photographed that their portraits have revealed many things to them as well as brought them a powerful connection.
